Married with five children, three cats and one very large dog she lives happily in a small town north of Austin, Tx. She is an ordinary housewife who spends most of her day homeschooling her three remaining teenage children.
From a young age she discovered a deep love for books that has encouraged her vivid imagination and touched her romantic spirit. With the help and support of her family she spends her spare time writing with the desire to share her creativity with other avid readers like herself.
An avid reader, she will read any genre if she’s drawn to the story line. She enjoys a good mystery, but her true love is romance. It doesn’t have to be a HEA for her to enjoy it; at times she even prefers it not to be. Historical and paranormal romances have become her favorite over the years, each satisfying a need inside her to experience a new world and adventure.
She has a weekly blog that is titled Book Trailer Wednesday, where she picks an e-book for review based on its book trailer. She also maintains a Facebook fanpage with the same title that is dedicated to helping promote fellow author’s book trailers.
Every Friday she spends a few hours of her time doing shout outs and re-tweets of free and cheap books ($2.99 or less) as a way to support both authors and the reading community.
She’s the author of a total of five self published erotic romance stories spread out over three series.
Her first completed series is a contemporary romance that originally consisted of three short stories, which she recently combined into one book. Danes Family: The Complete Series follows the crazy romance of two brothers and the woman they love.
Her MacKay’s Series is an ongoing historical romance with paranormal elements. To date it consists of the short novelette, Love in the Mist, that inspired the series and its follow up story, Mists Through Time. Book Three in the series, To Embrace a Highlander is set for release in a few months.
In February of this year she released Book One, Tonight’s Desire, for her new paranormal series, Volkoff Pack. This series is set in an alternate timeline to our own, in which paranormal beings exist. Each story revolves around the lives of different members of a werewolf pack. Both Book Two, Love’s Forbidden Embrace and Book Three, Love Combined are set to be released later this year.

Excerpt for Tonight’s Desire:
“Mia, you better get that cute ass of yours moving before they get here!” Hunter shouted from downstairs. She climbed out of bed in search of her clothes.
As she inspected the closet for something appropriate to wear, Mia realized she hadn’t brought enough clothes to entertain company. Her wardrobe consisted of two skirts, two dresses, and casual wear, things she wore around the apartment. The only exception, the few pairs of skorts Hailey threw in her bag. They were too short, so Mia refused to wear them.
Mia settled for her floral sleeveless dress and her black half jacket. In the dresser, she found the drawer donated to her bras and panties. She grabbed the top set, a teal thong with matching bra and dressed with haste.
Her undergarments were the only exception to her prim and proper wardrobe. The glide of silk and lace against her skin, Mia’s own decadent secret that no other soul knew. Until now, she thought with a blush. Curious, she wondered what the brothers thought of her secret wardrobe.
Mia giggled. For the last week, each day captivated her with a new and pleasant surprise. She hoped her life continued in that direction for a long while. After a year of bad luck, didn’t she deserve something good?
Ten minutes later, dressed in presentable attire, Mia ventured downstairs. The twins stood near the fireplace facing five of the most important men in her life, until now. At the moment, everyone looked irritated. Mia rushed down the steps, her goal, to defuse the tension in the room, only to trip at the bottom.
Crying out, she braced herself for a fall that never came. Confused, she stared up into Bryant’s dancing blue eyes. “Klutz…’ He managed to whisper before all hell broke loose.
The room erupted in growls from several directions. Staring, wide eyed she watched the twins’ eyes darken, then glow. A snarl ripped from their lips, a warning to their own brother. Bryant sniffed the air and turned to emit a growl from his own throat, a returned threat to Hunter and Cyr.
The volatile energy bounced around the room until Mia snapped. “Enough! This is ridiculous. You’re family. Now get your wolves under control, or I’m leaving!” She shoved Bryant, and he released his hold. Stunned at her outburst, silence emanated throughout the room.
Dmitri recovered first. With a chuckle, he grabbed Mia in a big hug. “Mia, sweet pea, you never cease to amaze me.” He kissed her on the cheek before setting her back on the ground. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you flustered enough to yell before. I kind of like this new you.”
Grigor got his hug, with a kiss to the top of the head. “Hi, sweet pea.”
Micah came next, with a brush of his fingertips along her cheek, he spoke in soft tones. “You are beautiful.”
When Bryant tried to reach for her again, Grigor grasped his arm with a negative shake of his head as Hunter growled. “I don’t think so, pup.” Hunter guided her out of Bryant’s reach and over to the chaise. Sitting down, he hauled Mia into his lap, his arms wrapped around her possessively.
“Bryant, just let it go. They fucked her anyways, so she’s ruined now.” Crispin spat viciously.
Anger emanated from Bryant’s body. Crispin’s verbal attack shocked Mia to her core. Wounded by Crispin’s words Mia watched in horror as the scene unfolded before her. Outraged at his brother’s attitude, Bryant planted his fist in Crispin’s face. The impact knocked him to the ground where he sat stunned. “If you ever speak about her like that again, I’ll do much worse, and that’s a promise.”
“Leave, you have lost the right to be here.” Micah commanded as displeasure rolled off him in waves.
Confused, Mia witnessed the look of sorrow that crossed Crispin’s face before his expression went blank. Her champion for years, his attitude made no sense. Why would he turn on her like that?
Grigor grabbed Crispin by the scruff of the neck as he forced him to stand. “We will discuss this later, for now it’s best if you leave.” Without a backward glance, he marched out the door.
Bryant moved to her side ignoring the growls from Hunter. He touched her cheek. “He will get over it sweetheart. His anger is directed at himself more than anything else right now, but that’s no excuse for the way he treated you.”
Her head throbbed, a precursor to the headache that fast approached. The situation, Hunter’s growls, the stress piled up. Annoyed, Mia elbowed Hunter in the gut. “Stop growling, he’s your brother for heaven’s sake!”
Hunter ignored Mia; instead his growls intensified. “Stop defending him.” He whispered in frustration.
Mia rolled her eyes. Men could be such babies. “Do I need to beat you with a newspaper like a bad puppy?”
Taking advantage of Hunter’s stunned state Bryant stole a quick kiss, then ambled over to where his father stood. Micah, too much like his sons, smacked Bryant upside the head. “Don’t antagonize your brothers.” He grunted.
Hunter pulled Mia tight against his chest. “You’re so getting spanked for that. From the look on Cyr’s face, I’d expect two spankings from him. One for that comment, and the other for not telling us you knew we were wolves.” He whispered in her ear.
Disgusted with his behavior, she voiced her irritation. “Of course I knew you were wolves. Your sister has been my best friend for ten years. As for the comment, I always threaten to beat Hailey with a newspaper.”
Dmitri, desperate to withhold his own laughter decided to start the meeting. “Mia, sweet pea, all though I’m happy to see you, I’m afraid today’s meeting isn’t a social visit.”
